General Terms and Conditions

Sending the registration form causes a binding reservation. Course fees are due immediately. You will receive our bank details in the confirmation email.

During courses paid by health insurance, every missed session results in a loss of earnings for us. Therefore, we must bill those sessions to you personally (with the exception of birth preparation classes missed due to early delivery).

If you cancel a course less than 15 days before it begins, we will charge you the full course cost (self-pay and insurance components) or keep amounts already paid, unless you provide another person to replace you. In any case we will charge a 5 EUR administration fee. If you cannot make it to a session, that session cannot be made up. We do not offer refunds for missed sessions.

For courses covered fully or in part by health insurance (birth preparation and postnatal exercise classes) and cancelled by you at least 24 hours ahead of time due to unexpected health issues (e.g. an illness for which you can provide a medical certificate or if your doctor confines you to bed) we will offer you a catching up date, if possible (in postnatal exercise classes starting from the 2nd missed session). You may exchange your private invoice for a catching up date, and we will refund the amount paid.
If you must cancel, please use your course instructor's contact information as provided on our website (www.fokus-leben.de/Team). Should you be unable to contact the instructor, please leave us a message at the office (phone 030 2913444 or info@fokus-leben.de).

We do not guarantee that courses are given by the instructors named on our website. If we must cancel an event because there are too few registrations, we will refund all amounts paid (course fees and self-pay components). If portions of a course cannot be held as planned (e.g. non-availability of personnel or facilities), FOKUS LEBEN will offer participants equivalent alternatives to make up sessions not had. Should we be unable to offer an alternative or should you be unable to make use of it, we will refund amounts paid for services not rendered.

In courses covered fully of in part by health insurance, participants must sign in with their instructor at all sessions in the lists provided.

Participants must exercise care when using our facilities and adhere to site rules and fire regulations.

Smoking is prohibited throughout all our facilities.

It is prohibited to bring pets.

FOKUS LEBEN assumes no liability for theft, losses of or damages to your property while using their facilities.

FOKUS LEBEN uses electronic data processing for purposes of course administration. You must agree to this in order to register for courses or midwife care and check the appropriate boxes in our online form.
